Samsung taps 3D NAND for new 256GB EVO Plus microSD card (Updated)

Samsung has announced the EVO Plus 256GB microSD card, leapfrogging the 200GB SanDisk Ultra microSD card that was announced in March last year. The new storage card takes advantage of 48-layer TLC V-NAND, which is what allowed it to achieve higher storage densities.
