HP has just announced the HP Envy 14 Spectre, an Ultrabook that has a Gorilla Glass lid and palmrest. The material seems to be a refreshing change from the usual aluminum or magnesium alloy that we're used to seeing. However there seems to be certain concerns regarding its Ultrabook legitimacy.

Analyst Predicts Decline of Apple's Ultra-Thin Notebook Market Share
Analysts have predicted that Apple will lose their share of the ultra-portable segment, currently dominated by the Macbook Air, which makes up an estimated 49% of all Apple notebook sales. This prediction is reliant on the Ultrabook (as per Intel's specifications) segment picking up speed in 2012.

Taiwanese memory module manufacturer, Adata Technology has reported that rising demand for tablets, and an influx of short lead-time orders from the Ultrabook sector, led to SSD sales staying at high levels. Hopefully, the strong demand reported will lead to lower SSD prices.
