Besides announcing that it has added two Toughbooks to its line of rugged mobile computers, Panasonic has also expanded its Toughpad line of enterprise-grade tablets with the introduction of the Toughpad FZ-G1.
Panasonic has announced the Toughbook CF-AX2, its lightest business rugged convertible Windows 8 Pro Ultrabook, and the Toughbook CF-C2, its first semi-rugged Windows 8 convertible PC.
It seems that Panasonic has found a way to increase the sensitivity of image sensors with unique 'micro color splitters', which promise to increase the amount of light directly reaching the sensor and doubling its sensitivity.
