Adopting the AMD Tahiti 28nm GPU, the ASUS HD 7970 DirectCU II TOP is one of the earlier cards to incorporate a custom cooler with their DirectCU II technology and features an overclocked engine clock speed of 1000MHz with 3GB GDDR5 video memory, which is also slightly faster than reference speeds.
Following AMD's Radeon HD 7970 launch just weeks ago, it was only inevitable that the Radeon HD 7950 counterpart would follow suit. To mark today's official launch, a slew of Radeon HD 7950 graphics cards have been released by add-in card partners ASUS, Club 3D, HIS, MSI, and Sapphire. Check them all here!
