ASUS has updated its ROG gaming laptops with NVIDIA's new 10-series mobile graphics cards. The new GPUs reportedly have a maximum performance deviation of just 10 per cent from their desktop counterparts, bringing an unprecedented level of performance to gaming notebooks.
Aftershock has refreshed its high-end gaming notebook range with brand new NVIDIA 10-series Pascal GPUs and a host of new features. The update applies to its best-selling S series notebooks and the ultra-enthusiast W series laptops that are intended as serious desktop replacements.
Just a few months ago, NVIDIA released its first GPUs to be based on its all-new Pascal architecture. And now, NVIDIA is bringing its Pascal architecture to gaming notebooks by announcing the new GTX 10-series mobile GPUs.

NVIDIA has agreed to a preliminary settlement in a lawsuit brought to it for alleged false advertising of the amount of VRAM on the GeForce GTX 970. In addition to paying US$30 each to customers who bought the GPU, NVIDIA and the other defendants will have to pay as much as US$1.3 million in attorney's fees.
