Japanese TV Brands Hit By Financial Losses

Sony, Panasonic, and Sharp suffer massive losses with regards to their TV businesses. Reasons were attributed to plunging costs of flat-screen TVs worldwide, a robust Yen, as well as growing competition from South Korean rivals like LG Electronics and Samsung.
