Google Rolls Out Android 4.4.1 Update for Nexus 5, Delivers Camera Improvements (Update: 4.4.2 Out!)
Google just released the Android 4.4.1 update for the Nexus 5, which promises to deliver significant improvements to the camera. Update: Google is now pushing 4.4.2 to Nexus devices.

An employee of a bar apparently managed to take some photos of the upcoming LG Nexus 5 when its owner, a Google employee, left the device charging unsupervised. Coincidentally, the Nexus 4 ran out of stock on the Play Store and a casemaker indicates that the Nexus 5 will be available on 31 October.

It's not the first time we've seen a white Nexus 4 in the wild, but Android and Me says that they managed to snag one at the Google I/O conference and that it will reportedly be available on the Google Play Store on June 10th (Update: It will launch at the end of May in Hong Kong).

LG Electronics is aiming to sell about 75 million phones this year, of which 45 million will be smartphones and the other 30 million will be feature phones. The company is also developing smartphones that are running on Windows Phone 8.

Within minutes of its introduction on the web, the Google Nexus 4 has been sold out in Australia and followed by Europe. Now, the official website has indicated that the unit has been sold out in both 8GB and 16GB variants on the US Google Play store.
