One of the touted features of Windows 8 is its ability to handle connectivity seamlessly, be it at a Wi-Fi network or over a mobile broadband connection. Group program manager Billy Anders has published an official blog post that outlines steps taken to improve the wireless connectivity experience.
The Xbox 360 is close to seven years old, and it seems Microsoft is ready to launch a new console by next year. While the next generation Xbox won't be out by this year, sources have made the wait more bearable by revealing that the console will be six times more powerful than the Xbox 360.

ARM CEO Warren East said in an interview at CES 2012 that he was not impressed with Intel's foray into the mobile smartphone market. He added that ARM took Intel as a serious competitior; however, Intel mobile smartphone CPUs would not be as power efficient as ARM's offerings.

Windows tablets haven't found themselves many fans over the years, and have mostly been relegated to niche users. Come Windows 8 however, and all that is set to change. Wired predicts that Windows 8 will make Windows tablets surprise, and ultimately appeal to mainstream consumers.
