According to sources, Microsoft will hold an Xbox event in May which will offer first looks and details of their next generation Xbox console. A full unveil of the device is expected to happen later in June.

The pricing details of the Microsoft Surface RT tablet have been revealed, and it looks much more attractive than what we initially thought. The base 32GB model will be retailing for S$668 (without cover) and the equivalent 64GB edition will retail for S$798 at Challenger Funan on April 5, 7pm. More details inside.
According to Paul Thurrott of SuperSite for Windows fame, Outlook RT exists and looks to be edging closer to release. Regarding Office for iPad, he's heard that it would only arrive after Microsoft ships Outlook RT.

According to ZDNet, Windows Blue will be officially named as Windows 8.1. As we have reported in August last year, the Redmond software giant has alleged plans in the pipeline to speed up the release cycle of their new Windows operating system. This development is in line with its decision.

Microsoft has started selling the Surface Pro in China yesterday. In addition to the regular edition that runs Windows 8 Pro, there's a new ‘Surface Chinese’ that only supports the Chinese language, runs Windows 8 (the core version), and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013.

Microsoft will be updating IE10 in Windows 8 and Windows RT to let it run Flash content by default. The change of mind comes after the company realizes that most sites with Flash content are ‘compatible with the Windows experience for touch, performance, and battery life.’
