Eight European countries will not be having the Xbox One this Christmas, Microsoft has just announced. Instead, they will be getting the consoles in 2014 due to various factors including language support and partnerships for apps.

Microsoft has just announced that Windows 8.1 will arrive through the Windows Store on October 17, 7:00pm (Singapore time). The retail version as well as new devices loaded with the updated OS will go on sale a day later on October 18.
As part of Patch Tuesday, Microsoft has issued several bug fixes for Windows 8.1 Preview. Also, new firmwares are available for the company's Surface RT and Surface Pro tablets.

Microsoft has released the Office Mobile for Office 365 app for Android phones. At the moment, it's only available from the U.S. Google Play store, but international rollout is expected in the next few weeks.
