Microsoft and the National University of Singapore (NUS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, cementing their commitment to data science education and research.
This morning, at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella took to stage at Microsoft Developer Day event to share the company's vision.
The undersea cable, called MAREA, is 6,600km long and has a bandwidth of 160Tbps (terabits per second).

Microsoft is rolling out a Windows 10 update that will allow apps and games based on its Universal Windows Platform (UWP) to uncouple their framerates from the monitor's refresh rate. UWP-based games will also now support AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync for smoother gameplay.
