A revamp for SkyDrive to bring it more in line with the new "Modern" looks of Windows 8 will be rolling out by tomorrow. Besides changing the aesthetics the cloud storage service will also be getting new features and functionality.

According to leaked slides on the Internet, Microsoft will be updating its OEM Activation mechanism to version 3.0 for the upcoming Windows 8. OA 3.0 will allow OEMs to digitally order and receive keys from Microsoft. Also, a unique product key is required to be written into each PC.

Microsoft has announced that Windows 8 has reached the RTM stage. This milestone signals the completion of product development and testing, and the handing off of the final code to hardware manufacturers as they prepare for its October 26 general availability.
