Xiaomi has just announced the Mi TV 2S, its newest 48-inch 4K TV. The standard edition is priced at RMB 2,999 (~S$660), while a 'Theater Edition' with an independent sound system costs slightly more at RMB 3,999 (~S$880). More details after the jump.

In addition to the 4K-capable FDR-AXP35 and FDR-AX30 Handycams, Sony has also introduced a 4K-capable action cam for those with a penchant for point-of-view shooting.
At a pre-CES press conference today, Samsung announced a total of nine TV screen sizes featuring the latest quantum dot technology to its 2015 line-up of Smart TVs. These new TVs will also feature Samsung's integration of the Tizen operating system as part of its smart features.
