At its NAB press conference in Las Vegas, Sony has revealed the U.S. pricing and availability details of its 55 and 65-inch 4K UHDTVs that we first saw at CES earlier this year. The company is also showing off two 4K OLED monitor prototypes at the industry event.

VESA has updated its DisplayPort Dual-Mode 1.1 standard to improve interoperability with HDMI and DVI devices. The updated standard features full HDMI 1.4 support, and is able to output its video signals through new DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable adaptors.

LG has unveiled several new TV and related products at CES 2013. Some that caught our attention are new Google TVs and wider variety of Ultra HD TVs. The company has also stated its plans for its 55-inch OLED TV for the US market.
