Toshiba unveils an 84-inch Quad Full-HD TV model at IFA, which makes it the largest 4K-capable television set the Japanese CE maker has yet to unleash. The Ultra High-Definition TV will be released next year with passive 3D features.

Samsung is showcasing its 55-inch ES9500 OLED TV at IFA 2012. Also on show is the 75-inch LED ES9000 Smart TV with a rose-gold bezel and the latest Smart Content. The Samsung Smart Hub demoed Angry Birds, played for the first time on Samsung Smart TV using gestures.
Sony has unveiled its first 4K 3D TV at IFA 2012, and it comes in the form of the 84-inch Bravia 84X900.

LG is the first in the world to launch an 84-inch Ultra Definition 3D TV, which is capable of supporting the new 4K display resolution. The 84LM9600 is currently only available in Korea, but LG has said that it will bring the TV to Asia sometime in September 2012.
