After the debacle that was Apple Maps for iOS 6, it was inevitable that someone had to pay the price for the blunders. According to Bloomberg, the manager of the team which developed Apple Maps has been fired.

No More YouTube App on iOS 6, Google Will Work on Standalone Version
Apple and Google confirms that iOS 6 will see the demise of the native YouTube app. Google will instead work on a standalone version of the YouTube app for iOS 6 users.
