Xiaomi Singapore sold 1,000 units of Mi 3 in 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note which has a 5.5-inch 720p display and comes in two variants. As with all its smartphones, the Redmi Note has a very attractive price tag of 999 yuan. It will be coming to Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong as early as May.

Folks in China will be able to pre-order the Redmi Note at 8pm on March 19. There’s no mention of price, but it’s safe to assume that this octa-core phone will cost a bit more than the super-affordable, 4.7-inch Redmi that has a quad-core processor.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Grand series, comprising of the Galaxy Grand 2 LTE, and the Galaxy Grand 2, to the Singapore market. Also, Samsung is launching these two devices, along with the Galaxy S4 with LTE+ in Deep Black, tomorrow, 15th March.

HTC Singapore today unveiled the 4.5-inch Desire 310, which will join the likes of Motorola Moto G and Xiaomi Redmi in the entry-level market.
The third batch of 5000 Xiaomi Redmi phones was sold out in 8 minutes and 4 seconds.
