Adobe today released Photoshop Lightroom 5, which includes new features like an advanced healing brush, radial filter, upright perspective tool and space-saving Smart Previews. The new version costs US$149 for a perpetual license and US$79 to upgrade from a previous version of Lightroom.

Adobe has released a public beta of Lightroom 5, which includes new features like an advanced healing brush, radial filter, upright perspective tool and space-saving Smart Previews. The beta is available for download now and will work until Lightroom 5 is released in June.

Adobe has released version 4 of their popular photo management and editing tool Photoshop Lightroom. Not only does it include new features like expanded highlight and shadow recovery, white balance brush and extended video support, it's also selling for half the price of the previous version.

Adobe Lightroom 3 was released a scant couple of days ago on July 7th, and already reviews about Adobe's latest abound. So what's new? Lens correction, faster performance, support for video are all in there, but the biggest news seems to be Lightroom's new noise reduction feature, which promises to clean-up the grainiest high ISO photo.
