Nokia's 41MP PureView-equipped Lumia 1020 Windows Phone 8 smartphone will be available in Singapore on Saturday, 5th October for $999 in white, black and yellow from all three telcos. The phone will include a free 1020 black camera grip while stocks last.

Microsoft's Nokia deal, announced today, also comes with the 'Asha' and 'Lumia' trademarks as part of the deal. What this means going forward is that we're seeing the last of the Nokia-branded Asha and Lumia phones on the market today, and the bowing out of Nokia from the mobile phone market.
