Popular cloud storage service Dropbox is currently offering up to 4.5GB of extra space for users who volunteer to try its experimental build 1.3.12. The new build allows users to automatically sync photos from cameras, phones and SD cards with their accounts.

Chinese case producer "Chinee" has begun selling cases for a tablet device called "iPad 2S". Citing information from sources within Apple's supply chain, the case manufacturer claims that the upcoming iPad will be 1mm thicker than the current iPad 2.

Acer and Lenovo are reported to be launching their Windows 8 tablets in the third quarter of 2012. The tablets are said to run on Intel's upcoming "Clover Trail" processors.
Notebook Italia obtained an image of a 7-inch ASUS Eee Pad tablet, which seemed to have a different design from the rest of the Eee Pad tablets. ASUS is rumored to announce the new tablet at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 next week.
