With its February 29 pre-order date looming, HTC and Valve have finally revealed how much their VR headset will cost.
Samsung has just launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The new phones restore a couple of popular features dropped from the previous generation, including expandable storage space, and a water resistant design. They're also the first smartphones to feature dual-pixel autofocus.

The Khronos Group has released Vulkan 1.0, an open-source, low-level API originally based on AMD's proprietary Mantle API. Vulkan gives developers explicit control over the GPU's memory resources and takes better advantage of multi-threaded CPUs, thus increasing performance.

Japanese e-commerce operator Rakuten will be shutting down their online marketplace in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The closures will affect approximately 150 employees.
