MSI has announced the 990FXA Gaming motherboard based on AMD's AM3+ socket. It is the first AMD motherboard to offer support for both USB 3.1 and the new NVMe storage protocol utilized by Intel's latest 750 series PCIe SSDs.
Vantec has announced the NexStar HDD enclosures and a PCIe host controller card that will support the latest USB 3.1 standard. The enclosure is meant to be paired with the add-on card to allow users to maximize the benefits of USB 3.1

AMD has announced its new range of OEM desktop graphics card, the Radeon 300 series. The new cards are essentially rebadges of older cards and include both performance and ultra-budget parts.
HP has announced new desktop PCs in its Pavilion and Envy product families and a 4K display. The new PCs will be outfitted with new hardware, including AMD's yet-to-be-announced Radeon R9 380 graphics card and Intel's fifth-generation Broadwell processors.
After years of development and various iterations of the development kit, the Oculus Rift is finally going to be seeing the light of day! Even better, we don't have that long to wait!
