Zotac announces pocket-size ZBOX PI320 pico desktop PC
Zotac has just announced its Intel Bay Trail-based ZBOX PI320 pico desktop PC. Not only is the new mini-PC compact in size, it also boasts of a fan-less system for quiet computing experience.
The system operates on Windows 8.1 with Bing, which has been preloaded for the end-user’s convenience. According to Zotac, the ZBOX PI320 pico is about the size of a “typical smartphone”, and the measurements of its pocket-size form factor are 115.5- x 66- x 19.2mm.
At the heart of the system is a quad-core Intel Atom Bay Trail processor (Intel Atom Z3735F), with Intel HD graphics that is capable of supporting full HD 1080p video output via its lone HDMI port. The ZBOX PI320 pico also ships with 2GB of DDR3L system memory, and a 32GB SSD. A microSXD slot allows you to boost storage capacity. But take note that its system memory has been maxed out as the processor is only capable of supporting up to 2GB of RAM.
There is a VESA mounting kit that allows you to mount the ZBOX PI320 pico at the rear of your full HD display. Currently, Zotac’s site has listed four SKUs of the ZBOX PI320 pico; however, its local availability and pricing has yet to be confirmed.
