You can pre-order the Sony Bravia A1 OLED TV at CEE 2017

Looking to buy an OLED TV that doesn’t have LG’s badge? Well, Sony’s first large-screen 4K OLED TV, the Bravia A1, is now available for pre-order.

Using an OLED panel for that deep blacks and natural colors that the OLED tech is famous for, the Bravia A1’s picture quality is further enhanced by Sony’s proprietary X1 Extreme processor and Triluminos display tech.

The TV supports 4K HDR content, of course, and supports streaming services such as Netflix 4K. Additionally, it runs the Android TV platform, so you can access the Google Play store for apps and games, use Google Cast to get video from your phone to the big screen, and do voice searches to find content.

Also, unlike most traditional TVs, you won’t see any speakers flanking the sides of the TV. In fact, the sound comes from the entire screen. Sony calls this the Acoustic Surface tech, which basically relies on four actuators at the rear of the TV to generate sound through very minute vibrations. Coupled with a kickstand at the back of the TV (instead of a traditional under the TV), all you’ll see from the front is the giant screen.

The Sony Bravia A1 OLED TV is available in 55 and 65-inch screen sizes, at a price of S$8,999 and S$12,999 respectively. From now till June 26, you can pre-order it at Sony Stores, Sony Centers, and selected Sony authorized dealers at a promo price of S$7,399 and S$10,499 respectively, and get a free PlayStation 4 Pro (worth $599) and a pair of tickets for the 2017 International Champions Cup Singapore.

Sony will be at CEE 2017 at Suntec Singapore this coming June 1 to 4, so you can also pre-order the Bravia A1 there.
