You can now try Circles.Life's 20GB mobile plan for free until the end of the year

Circles.Life has today unveiled Circles Switch, a “try-before-you-buy” mobile plan for new potential customers.

In a nutshell, if you've a mobile contract with another telco that's expiring soon, you can now experience Circles.Life’s service for free first while you decide whether you want to jump ship or not. This Circles Switch trial gives you a free SIM-only line (with a temporary number) stocked with 20GB of monthly local data, 100 minutes of talktime, and 20 SMS messages. There are no delivery charges, no registration fees, or SIM card costs.

Circles Switch will run from today till end of the year, December 31, 2017. Past this date and Circles Switch customers will automatically switch over to a full Circles.Life base plan. To avoid being charged come January 2018 (you've to provide credit card details when you sign up for the trial), customers can cancel any time before the free period is over. As such, it makes more sense to sign up early.

(To reiterate: to qualify for this Circles Switch trial plan, you need an active post-paid number with another telco that is ending before 31st December, 2017.)

Rameez Ansar, co-founder and director of Circles.Life, on the rationale behind this “try-before-you-buy” model:

We want people to feel the power of an end-to-end digital telco service. We want people to feel the power of a Circles.Life no-contract plan over so called ‘subsidized’ 24-month contract plans. We want people to feel the power of 20 GB /month. Circles Switch makes it possible for people to try out our service for free. We are doing this because we are confident they will switch to a full Circles.Life plan.

With the launch of this plan, Circles.Life is now confident that it’s able to hit a 3 to 5% market share by 2019. The digital telecommunications operator has also confirmed that it plans to launch in Jakarta, Indonesia next year.
