The new Microsoft Surface Pro is launching in Singapore on August 15, and pre-orders have already started.
Unlike past Surface Pro devices, the new Surface Pen, which offers tilt support for shading and 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, isn’t part of the bundle this time, and is sold separately for S$148. The platinum (silver) Surface Pen is slated to launch alongside the Surface Pro on August 15, too, but what if you’re getting a different colored Type Cover and want a color-matching stylus?
If that’s the case, know that the Surface Pen in burgundy, charcoal (i.e., black), and blue color options are now also available for pre-order through the Microsoft Store, with a shipping date of August 22. Frankly, I see no reason why Microsoft can’t launch these colors on August 15, other than to make sure we don’t get them ahead of the U.S., which is also getting them on August 22.
