Update as of 10.30pm:- Hachi.tech updated HardwareZone that due to overwhelming response, the inital batch for Xiaomi Mi Max pre-order has fully sold out. As such, pre-order has stopped until further notice.

Original news article as first published at 3.15pm is as follows:-

The Xiaomi Mi Max phablet is now available through Challenger’s online retail portal, Hachi.tech. The site is taking pre-orders at S$349 for each phablet, and it’s available in two colors – Gold or Silver. If you’re a Hachi.tech member, you can get a further 2 percent rebate.

The phone variant on sale is the 32GB model with 3GB RAM. The pre-order ends on 31st August 2016. People who pre-ordered the device can choose to have it shipped to them, or collected at Challenger’s physical outlets or headquarters.

The Xiaomi Mi Max is a 6.44-inch phablet designed for entertainment. Not only does it have a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution) display, it also comes with expandable storage (up to 128GB) and a massive 4,850mAh battery capacity. We’ve mentioned the Xiaomi Max here, back when it first launched in May 2016. The price of 32GB model on Hachi.tech isn’t very far from the original retail price, which was CNY1,499 (it works out to ~S$314).
