Aside from the upcoming Redmi Pro smartphone, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be launching another new product on 27th July.

According to Chinese sources at BenchLife, Xiaomi will be unveiling two new laptops which are inspired by the Apple MacBook Air. Leaked specs obtained by BenchLife reveal that the two laptops are powered by the latest Intel Skylake processors (Core i7-6500U running at 2.5GHz) and 8GB RAM. Other rumored specs include a USB Type-C port, display size options of 11 and 13-inches, and a slim design.

Last September, Bloomberg reported that Xiaomi would be entering the laptop market in Q1 2016. The memory chips were reportedly sourced from Samsung. In December 2014, a purported image of a Xiaomi laptop - which was later dismissed as fake - circulated on the Internet.
