Xiaomi Holding Summer Sale for Mi 3, Price Slashed to $299

If you are looking for an affordable Android flagship smartphone, look no further than the Xiaomi Mi 3! Starting today, Xiaomi is selling its flagship smartphone for S$299.

This is the second price cut in two months; Xiaomi slashed the price of the Xiaomi in late April to S$339 from its original retail price of $419. While the Mi 3 lacks a memory card slot and 4G connectivity, we found it to offer great performance at its retail price- a deal that's even sweeter with its new reduced price. Am very surprised at ximbleton's bad experience with the phone. I have had my Redmi for a couple of months and it has worked flawlessly so far. Hope more owners of the Mi3 will chip in here with their experience. I am really tempted to get one at this new price

I tried to reach the Xiaomi office on the phone. They just refused to let me talk to anyone who can answer me. I had written an email to them with all the details, stating clearly that I had been to the service centre and they have declined to honour the warranty. The first email response was to reset the phone, which I dutifuly did to no avail! and replied to the email stating that it did not work. And guess what their response was!!"take it to the service centre". Guys be prepared for a dismal after sales service. If your Xiaomi phone fails. Pray hard so that it does not fail. Because thats the only help you will get.

Ximbledon, thanks for sharing :)

It seems too good to be true. With all the hype! Yes indeed it is too bad that it is all false. The phone is new the features are awesome. But how long does the phone last!!! 3 weeks. Thats how long it lasted for me. The service centre is too inadquate and declined to honour the warranty. So buyers if you are prepared to pay $299 for some fantastic phone experience @100 per week please go ahead for it. remember you could have bought many many other high end phones at the cost of $100 per week.
