WD Designs First Hard Drives for SOHO NAS Systems

WD has launched its Red NAS hard drives.

A line of SATA hard drives specifically designed for home and small office NAS systems with one to five drive bays, the 3.5-inch WD Red hard drives come in capacities of 1TB, 2TB, and 3TB. In addition to integrating the NASware technology, this product line also includes 3D Active Balance Plus, which is an enhanced balance control technology that significantly improves the overall drive performance and reliability.
