Wakka Wakka! Pac-Man runs wild on Google Maps

Pick any area with a lot of roads to make things really interesting.

It's April 1st, which means the internet is about to get flooded with wacky stunts and jokes. Google's one of the first out of the gate with it's April Fool's gag, which turns nearly any area in Google Maps, into an impromptu game of Pac-Man.

To trigger the Pac-Man mode, go to Google Maps and select your area. Find one with a lot of roads if possible. Once done, you just click on the Pac-Man icon on the lower left of the screen, which you can see on the image above.

It's on now! You can now play Pac-Man with a nearly limitless number of maps. This is the above map with the Pac-Man mod on.

There you go! Enjoy your game of Pac-Man!

If you're hankering to play more classic games on your browser, you can always hit up Internet Arcade, which has games like Street Fighter II and Bionic Commando, all playable from any browser.
