Another variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5 popped up on YouTube earlier this morning.

According to TK Tech News, the device is the Galaxy S5 Active for US telco AT&T. The four-minute long video shows the device in a case with extra padding at the corners, making it extremely rugged and bulky.

Like its predecessor (the Galaxy S4 Active), the upcoming model will sport a removable rear cover with rubber seal on the inside to keep moisture out. The leaker mentioned that the Galaxy S5 Active has a Super AMOLED display and stated that "it is not 1080p". When placed beside the Galaxy S5, he found the display on the Galaxy S5 Active to be more crisp.

The Settings page reveals the model number to be SM-G870A and the device running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Galaxy S5 Active also will have a heart rate monitor below the rear camera.

We will update this section after TK Tech News uploads a full hands-on video of the device in a few hours, so keep your eyes peeled to HardwareZone for more information. Besides the Galaxy S5 Active, Samsung is believed to be working on a higher-end variant of the Galaxy S5 to be launched next month.
