Two Technologies Introduces N4 Rugged Android Device for Enterprise Mobility

Two Technologies has introduced the N4, the first in a series of ultra-rugged Android devices designed for mobility applications in harsh weather and demanding environments.

With a 5.5-inch diagonal 720 x 1280 Super AMOLED display, the N4 includes a 70-key, backlit keypad, and runs on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform. It also features a hot-swappable battery, optional 3 channel magnetic stripe reader and an 8-megapixel color camera. Information can be stored in the N4's 16GB internal memory and additional MicroSD memory is available up to 64GB. A drop-in cradle with spare battery charger may be used for desktop or vehicle mounting.

This data collection device for Public Safety, Asset Management, Field Service, Survey, Construction, Fleet Management, Point-of-Sale and more, this all-in-one device takes communications, data input, credit card transactions, photography, and scanning to a higher level of in-field performance. It is IP67 rated and meets or exceeds the MIL-STD 810G standard using methods 516.6 and method 514.6 for both shock and vibration.
