Twitter is rolling out Highlights to Android users on more than 35 additional languages

In April this year, Twitter released Highlights in English for all its Android users. From today, non-English speaking Twitter users will also get to enjoy the same excitement on their Android devices. According to its official press release, Highlights will be available on 48 different languages! Here's the full list of language support:-

Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Basque, Belarusian, Bengali, Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (UK), Farsi/Persian, Filipino, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Kurdish (Central), Kurdish (Northern), Latin, Latvian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese and Welsh.

Highlights is a curated Twitter summary that is pushed to users as a notification. Upon receiving it, users will be brought to their Twitter app and the contents from Highlights will be displayed in a separate overlay interface, away from their regular Twitter stream. Users can then view all content by swiping from right to left; users can also access Highlights at their convenience by tapping the overflow icon.
