Twitter Bolsters Photo Sharing Features

Twitter has implemented two new mobile features that'll make photos on the platform more social.

Select up to four photos from the Tweet composer; Tap on a photo to see it in full, then swipe to see the rest. (Image source: Twitter)

Firstly, you can now tag up to 10 friends in a photo, without sacrificing any of the 140 characters in your Tweet. You'll also get a notification when you're being tagged. Of course, you can adjust notifications, or control who tags you, under Settings.

Secondly, you can now share up to four photos in a single Tweet. These photos will automatically create a collage. Simply tap on a preview for the full image, and slide through the group.

On top of these, both photo-tagging and Tweets with multiple photos will display in embedded Tweets. The new Twitter update has rolled out for both iPhone and Android users.
