As Q1 2017 comes to an end later this week, Apple chip partner TSMC is gearing up for volume production of the A11 chipset.

According to Economic Daily News, TSMC will begin production of the A11 chipset in April. It is expected to produce 100 million A11 chipsets by the end of the year. The A11 chipset is widely believed to power the next generation iPhone models, the iPhone 7s and iPhone 8. It will be built on a 10nm FinFET process.

Since Apple is rumored to go big on AR for the next iPhone, do expect the A11 to be a mighty chipset to do all the heavy lifting.
