Apple is rolling out a new program called "Today at Apple" across all 495 of its Apple Stores worldwide.

"Today at Apple" will consist primarily of educational sessions which will be led by highly-trained Apple staff, and in select cities world-class artists, photographers, and musicians.

The sessions will be focused on Apple products and will be designed for all skill levels. It will encompass topics like photography, videography, coding, art, design, and more.  The goal, according to Apple, is to educate and inspire the communities, and create modern day town squares where people can gather and meet.

Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail, said, "At the heart of every Apple Store is the desire to educate and inspire the communities we serve. ‘Today at Apple’ is one of the ways we’re evolving our experience to better serve local customers and entrepreneurs. We’re creating a modern-day town square, where everyone is welcome in a space where the best of Apple comes together to connect with one another, discover a new passion, or take their skill to the next level. We think it will be a fun and enlightening experience for everyone who joins."

More specifically, Apple says that there will be 60 different sessions in various creative skills including Studio Hours, where creative professionals host 90 minutes sessions and anyone is welcome to bring in their project for advice or help. There's also Photo and Sketch Walks, where professionals take attendees on walks to take photos and sketch their surroundings.

Besides Studio Hours and Photo and Sketch Walks, there will also be coding sessions for Apple's Swift programming language, and sessions for iMovie, GarageBand, and many more.

This development is particularly exciting because the very first Apple Store is about to launch in Singapore. And when it does, we can expect to see the same sort of activities here.
