These Samsung Galaxy devices are getting the Android 7.0 update

With Android 7.0 update rolling out for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge phones, Samsung has now confirmed the list of other mobile devices in its portfolio which are  also getting the software update.

The devices include the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge Plus, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE Unlock), Galaxy A3 and A8. Samsung states that Android 7.0 Nougat will be expanded to additional countries on these devices within the first half of this year. While the list of devices seems extensive, Samsung has missed out on a few models such as the A9 Pro, and the recently announced 2017 A5 and A7 phones.

Some of the new features and refinements from the update are a cleaner Quick Panel interface, an improved controller for Multi-Window, and a Performance Mode for optimizing the phones to meet specific needs of users.
