Thermaltake Presents Urban T21 & Urban T31 Mainstream Mid-tower Cases

Thermaltake has introduced its Urban T21 and Urban T31 chassis recently, adding on to its expanding Urban Series.

Urban T21

Built with a metal brushed front door panel to mask the extrusive drive devices (3 ODD and 6 HDD drive bays), its top panel in the front houses two USB 3.0 ports, a HD microphone and headset jacks. In addition to two pre-installed 120mm fans, the pre-mounted holes lets users build up system ventilation according to their preferences.

The 3.5- and 5.25-inch tool-free drive bay design minimizes the hassle of installing ODD and HDD devices, while the pre-mounting holes enables users to support motherboards sizes up to standard ATX, and CPU cooler installation, and extra long graphics card. The rubber grommet holes also allow for Advanced Cable Management and Liquid Cooling System.

In a brushed aluminum finish with a steel mesh front door panel to mask the extrusive drive devices, the Urban T31 comes available in both the window and non-window versions, with the latter offering a quieter performance. Its pre-installed sound-dampening foams on both side panels help reduce noise within the chassis. The perforated top panel in the front holds two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, along with a HD microphone and headset jacks. Top-mounted 2.5- or 3.5-inch HDD Docking Station offers effortless hot-swap drive replacement for easy setup or removal of storage or backup media. Like the T21, the chassis also features two pre-installed 120mm fans as well as pre-mounted holes, and the 3.5- and 5.25-inch tool-free drive bay design.

On top of that, a rear CPU cut-out in the motherboard helps with cooler installation and provides extra space for extra long graphics card. Rubber grommet holes are inched to ensure that cables can be tucked away for effortless cable management along with liquid cooling tube routing.

The Thermaltake Urban T21 and T31 mainstream mid-tower chassis retail at US$69 and US$89 respectively.
