Synology Introduces Its DiskStation DS112+

Synology presents the DiskStation DS112+.

An all-in-one NAS server designed for small and medium businesses, it is powered by a 2GHz processor with 512MB of memory. Offering read and write speeds up to 107MBps and 76MBps respectively in a Windows environment, it is stocked with two USB 3.0 ports to deliver speedy file transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, a throughput speed 10 times faster than USB 2.0.

With two side ventilation openings and a 60mm low-rotation rear fan, the DS112+ only consumes 14.6W when operating and 6.34W when its hard drive goes into hibernation mode.
