Photo editing applications for the iPhone and iOS are innumerable. There is a plethora of software available that will help you add a filter to your snaps or perform rudimentary editing fixes with the click of a button. However, most of these apps rely on gimmicks to succeed, and when the novelty wears off, they soon lose their charm. Not to mention the fact that the majority of such applications execute their edits poorly.
Macadamia Apps, an Israeli-based startup, has just released their first application titled GroupShot that may actually be a photo app worth having. It essentially lets you swap faces from one picture to another with the simple process of using the iPhone's touch controls to select the areas you want changed.
With the iPhone camera being popular for grabbing candid pictures, GroupShot helps eradicate simple problems like the subject blinking at the wrong moment or looking away in simple, easy steps. You can now actually use two half decent shots to make one good picture as shown in the visuals above. Plus, we are sure everyone can see the "trolling" potential the application offers as well.
GroupShot is now available for US$0.99 on the iTunes Store.
