It was only a matter of time, but it seems that the moment has arrived. Internet has become as important to users as television. While the recent survey was of U.S. consumers, we expect locals to spend as much time online as they did watching television.

But the stat marks a big shift for the country at large; this is the first year in Forrester’s survey that people have reported spending equal amounts of time on the two activities — 13 hours a week.
