Steve Jobs' Resignation Had Little Impact on Demand for Apple Products

The findings of a ChangeWaveResearch survey done last week indicated that Steve Jobs' resignation had little impact on the consumers buying Apple products in the future.

According to PCWorld, only 4% of the 2,300 consumers who took part in the survey said that Jobs' resignation makes them less likely to purchase Apple products in the future. An overwhelming 89% of respondents stated that the news did not have an impact on their purchasing of Apple devices.

It is noteworthy to mention that ChangeWaveResearch has been conducting similar surveys for a few years already and the impact of Jobs' stepping down as CEO of Apple on consumers' buying habits when it comes to Apple products has gradually declined over time.

Although Jobs is not at the helm of the company, life goes on as usual in Apple as it continues the patent lawsuits against HTC and Samsung.
