StarHub's JuniorProtect Plus gives parents more powerful web filtering tools for home broadband and mobile lines

StarHub’s JuniorProtect (Basic) is a value-added service for postpaid mobile and home broadband customers that blocks harmful websites and undesirable content across devices. But if you're a parent looking for more powerful features beyond this basic content filtering service, the telco has today launched JuniorProtect Plus.

Still a network-level filtering service, JuniorProtect Plus goes beyond automatic blocking of undesirable content (e.g., porn, gore, adult content) and providing you a list of content category filters that you can customize. On both mobile and home broadband, you can now also set time-based internet access curfews, generate and receive online activity reports, and receive notifications through email or SMS if someone in the family accessed a restricted website. While on mobile, you can remotely track your child’s whereabouts as well as manage his or her local and roaming mobile data access.

Starting March 4, 2017, you can visit the JuniorProtect Plus online portal at www.starhub.com/juniorprotect to activate the service on your children’s mobile lines or on home broadband connections using your StarHub Hub iD. JuniorProtect Plus will cost S$5.35 per month for every enrolled mobile line and S$5.35 per month for each home broadband connection.
