StarHub Mobile postpaid customers to enjoy free local data access to nine SPH apps

In March 2016, Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) and StarHub signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Under this MOU, both companies will collaborate in areas of advertising sales, creation and carriage of content, data analytics, and marketing.

As part of this collaboration, it's announced today that starting July 15, 2016, all existing and new StarHub Mobile postpaid customers will enjoy free local data access to nine SPH mobile apps for one year.

The apps are:

  • AsiaOne
  • Berita Harian
  • Lianhe Wanbao
  • Lianhe Zaobao
  • The Business Times
  • The Straits Times
  • ONE FM 91.3
  • Kiss92
  • UFM 100.3

Other apps offered by SPH will be added in the coming months. All SPH mobile apps can be downloaded for free via Apple App Store or Google Play store on mobile devices.

In addition to the free local data access, new customers of any Lianhe Zaobao’s subscription package or current print subscribers who upgrade to the All-in-One package before 17 August 2016 will receive a box of specially-curated Lianhe Zaobao mooncakes worth S$168. The exquisitely designed mooncake box contains six of the best mooncakes from leading hotels in Singapore. In addition, Lianhe Zaobao All-in-One subscribers can choose to purchase the new Oppo R9 at an exclusive price of S$149 (U.P. S$299) when they sign up for a two-year 4G3 mobile plan with StarHub before September 15, 2016.
