Sounds.com is a music maker’s dream

If you’re a video producer searching for audio to use with your productions, or a music producer trying to find just the right snare loop, Sounds.com by Native Instruments might just be the answer to your prayers.

Though it’s currently only accessible to customers in the US, the website is essentially a library of studio-grade loops and samples that you can download. Selected loops are free, while Pro subscriptions are currently only available to US users at a special introductory price of US$9.99 per month. The subscription allows you to save, manage and download sounds from the full library, but even the free subscription gives you access to thousands of tracks.

“This is just the beginning,” says Product Owner Sunny Lee. “Today, we’re excited to be opening up the Sounds.com beta to US creators. We can’t wait to see how they will use the platform and are looking forward to their feedback to help us to shape Sounds.com according to their needs.”

Sounds.com includes loops and one-shots from every single MASCHINE Expansion in addition to sound packs from more than 200 of the world’s leading suppliers, and Native Instruments says new releases are added every day, all searchable by genre, instrument, key or BPM via the site’s own search engine.

The international rollout is supposed to be due very soon, so hopefully we’ll have more updates for you in the following months.
