Tracking sensors are slowly permeating into every conceivable product and badminton is no exception to the rule. SOTX’s Smart Racquet is now available in Singapore, and this smart badminton performance tracking racquet is going for S$320.

The Smart Racquet comes with two main tracking modes. Match Play tracks the performance of a badminton player for one entire match, and Live Tracking feeds real-time information to coaches or smart racquet users, with the help of audio cues to correct the stroke’s form and consistency.

Each Smart Racquet comes with the tracking racquet itself, together with its racquet charging unit, and racquet carrying bag. The tracking chip is built into the handle, and the racquet comes unstrung. The tracked data can be accessed via its proprietary iOS or Android OS app. Effectively, it's like a Fitbit for badminton players.

Here are some specifications of the ROTX Smart Racquet:

  • Weight: 86-90g
  • Balance Point: 296-300mm
  • Shaft Stiffness: 8.0-8.3
  • Length: 675mm
  • String Tension: =< 28LBS

The Smart Racquet is available online at badminton store Crazybadman. The physical storefront is located in SAFRA Tampines.
