Soon, you will be able to edit your PDF documents stored on your Dropbox account
Soon, you will be able to edit and share your PDF files, which are stored on your Dropbox account. This is due to a partnership between Adobe and Dropbox. Both companies have worked hard to integrate Dropbox services to operate across Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader. This means that users of both software titles can access and perform common actions like editing and saving their PDF files that are stored in their Dropbox accounts. They are able to do so from their desktop PCs (web-based) or mobile devices. According to Adobe, the iOS integration between Adobe Reader and Dropbox will be made available to the end-user in the coming months. For Android and web-based integrations will be rolled out in 2016. Adobe has also rolled out advanced e-Sign capabilities for enterprise users, which include the following advantages:-
- Breakthrough workflow automation
- Digital Signatures to comply with advanced signing requirements in the EU and regulated industries
- New global data centers
- Enterprise-class control
On the local corporate front, SMRT Corporation has adopted Adobe e-Sign services and such a move has allowed this multi-modal public transport company to reduce their document handling fees by over S$100,000 since November 2014. They have also improved their contract turnaround time from a couple of hours previously, to three minutes with Adobe e-Sign services.
