Sony's Xperia XA Ultra is available in Singapore today!

Sony's Xperia XA Ultra is available in Singapore today! The 6-inch smartphone has a Full HD display and is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 processor with 3GB RAM.

On the rear, you'll find an impressive 21.5-megapixel camera with phase detection autofocus and a 1/2.4-inch sensor. It's also a monster selfie camera with a 16-megapixel front camera with a 1/2.6-inch sensor and its own dedicated LED flash. That's the same sensor size and resolution as the rear camera on Samsung's Galaxy S6! It's also one of the only smartphones with optical image stabilization on the front camera!

The phone retails for S$648 and is available from all telcos and Sony authorized retailers.

Sony's full line of Xperia X models are now available in Singapore

The Xperia XA Ultra is the bigger brother of the recently launched Xperia XA on 2nd July that's available for S$498. On most fronts, the larger Xperia XA Ultra is also more capable than the Xperia X and we would recommend it if you don't mind the larger form factor.

Both the Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra are mid-range phones from Sony, but if you really want the top of the line new Sony phone, that will be the Xperia X which we recently reviewed.

With the X, XA and XA Ultra, Sony's new range of phones for the Singapore market is now complete (but we'll still miss not having the X Performance for our market).
