It was mostly hearsay over the past few months, with rumor mills speculating about the impending arrival of Sony's PlayStation Phone. Well, if reports from Japan’s Asahi Shimbun newspaper are anything to go by, the anticipated mobile unit developed by Sony Ericsson will allegedly be made flesh in Spring 2011, and it will hit Europe before making its rounds in the States.
PCWorld - Sony's long-rumored PlayStation Phone could soon become a reality. The company will launch a device blending the features of a PlayStation Portable and cell phone in the spring of 2011, according to a report in Japan's Asahi Shimbun newspaper on Tuesday.
The rumored PSP Phone's design will be based on the PSPGo, which sadly, didn't make much of an impact on the gaming market as much as Sony would like to. Gaming controls are expected to emulate the PSPGo as well. Hopefully, Sony will make an official announcement during CES 2011. For now, click here for more scoops on the upcoming device.
