Sony Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XA1 Ultra are now available!
Sony Xperia XZ Premium pre-orders begin on 26th May
Sony Xperia XZ Premium launch
The Xperia XZ Premium will officially retail at S$1,098 on 10th June 2017.
The pre-order period starts on 26th May. You can find their official pre-order website here, but the web page will only go live on the first pre-order day itself.
Pre-ordering the XZ Premium will net a complimentary launch bundle worth more than S$200. Included is a pair of Sony MDR-EX750NA headphones, the Sony DK60 USB charging dock, and a clear style cover.
Colors Deepsea Black and Luminous Chrome will be available from the pre-order period onwards. Bronze Pink will be available only from July 2017. Once the XZ Premium goes on sale, you can find them at Sony Stores, Sony Centres, M1, Singtel, StarHub, and authorized Sony retail partners.
To recap, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is one of the first flagship smartphones of 2017 to have an up-to-date flagship processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. It also comes with a 5.5-inch 4K HDR display, and Sony’s working together with Amazon Prime Video to bring compatible content to this device.
The 19-megapixel rear camera has a feature called Motion Eye that captures short bursts of footage at 960fps during a regular recording. Those 960fps moments would play back as slow-motion across six-seconds at 30fps.
