We have heard quite a fair bit about Sony's upcoming smartphone and we are glad to see it finally make its official appearance at CES as a simpler-named Sony Xperia S. Specifications have already been leaked quite some time back, but just to recap, the Xperia S will come with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 display, 1GB of RAM, and a 12 megapixel rear camera. The Android 2.3 device will be upgraded to ICS though we are not sure when; based on Sony's ICS roadmap, it can be any time between end March to early May.
The smartphone will be available in black and silver at its launch in March in the US. Pricing has not been revealed as of now.
