Sony Releases Its SLT-A37 and NEX-F3 Cameras

Sony rolls out its SLT-A37 and NEX-F3 cameras.

SLT-A37

The SLT-A37 also comes with the Superior Auto mode, and a tilt-angle 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD screen. The precision 3-cross 15-point AF system with tracking autofocus keeps faces and fast-moving subjects in sharp focus. Equipped with Sony's Translucent Mirror Technology, it is capable of grabbing split-second action with a burst of sharply-focused images. The 16.1-megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor within the SLT-A37 captures finely-detailed, low noise stills and Full HD video.

NEX-F3

Featuring the same space-saving mirrorless design like other cameras in the E-mount family, the 16.1-megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor captures more light for flawless, low-noise stills and crisply detailed Full HD videos in 50i/25p. With a flippable LCD, users can simply press the shutter button or let the Smile Shutter take self-portraits for them automatically. The Superior Auto mode intelligently recognizes a wide range of scene and subjects, adjusting settings like a seasoned photographer. Its battery stamina has been boosted to about 470 shots from a single charge, approximately 18% improvement on the NEX-C3.

The SLT-A37 and NEX-F3 will be available in APAC starting June 2012.
